Lady GaGa tried her hand at Jazz during her headline performance live at BBC Radio 1’s ‘Big Weekender’ in Carlisle, England.
The popstar started her career performing jazz standards in popular nightspots in NYC. She’s now best known for her outrageous dress sense, but maybe this performance of Jazz classic “Orange Colored Sky”, made famous by Nat King Cole, could change that. In tribute to the upcoming royal wedding, Gaga fittingly changed the lyrics in the second half of the song.
Speaking to the crowd half-way through the performance, Gaga said: “I wish I was at the royal wedding”, before dedicating the rest of her performance to the royal couple, Kate Middleton and Prince William.
