Guitarist Peter White has announced the release date of his upcoming album, ‘Here We Go’.
The album, White’s 13th offering, is due for release March 13, 2012 on Heads Up International.
Featuring 11 newly recorded instrumental records, ‘Here We Go’ will serve as the follow-up to White’s 2009 release ‘Good Day’, whcih featured the likes of David Sanborn, Kirk Whalum, and Philippe Saisse.
British-born Smooth Jazz Guitarist Peter White was inspired to start recording his own music by British group Acoustic Alchemy. Ever since the release of his debut album, titled in honor of his French mother, 1990’s ‘Reveillez-Vous’ (Wake Up), the guitarist has been grwing a strong following in the Smooth Jazz community.
Before stepping into the spotlight himself, 57-year-old White spent almost 15-years as a sideman to British folk-rock legend Al Stewart, co-writing many of his songs, including the 1978 hit ‘Time Passages’.
