“You’re seeing something very special ladies & gentlemen – Four saxophone players coming together for a very special project. And it may only happen this one time, you never know…”
Saxophonist Dave Koz uttered these words almost a year ago at the Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL on the opening night of the Summer Horns Tour. And now, it seems we do know…
Dave Koz & Friends are bringing their Summer Horns project back to Ruth Eckerd Hall – Almost a year after they made their live performance debut of the project in June 2013.
Tickets are now on sale to see Dave Koz, Mindi Abair, Gerald Albright, Richard Elliot, and possibly a few special guests, perform at Ruth Eckerd Hall on June 27, 2014 at 8pm. Tickets start at $35, and go all the way up to $125 for a special Dinner Package, which includes valet parking, a pre-show dinner with the performers, and a premium seat at the venue.
The Summer Horns album has also been a rousing success. After the first single from the album spent seven weeks at the top of Billboard’s Smooth Jazz Chart, the album was nominated for a Soul Train Award and a GRAMMY.
Tickets are available from www.rutheckerdhall.com.
