Chick Corea has made himself available for a 5-day piano/keyboard masterclass near Pittsfield, MA, USA.

The workshop, due to take place for 5-days beginning August 27, will see the piano master guide intermediate-to-advanced pianists and keyboardists through a range of workshops, helping them take their musicianship to the next level.

The workshops will include master classes, jam sessions, and performances by Corea and a range of guest performers being brought in for the events.

The workshop is being organized by the National Guitar Workshop company, who often arrange workshops with leading musicians, such as Tonight Show bassist Kevin Eubanks; however this is the first time the company are bringing in someone of Chick Corea’s world-leading caliber.

Chick Corea’s recent collaborative album with Stanley Clarke and Lenny While, ‘Forever‘, won the Best Instrumental Album award at this year’s Latin Grammys.
